先日札幌に行った時、北海道で松山千春を聴くのを忘れていたと書いた（中島みゆきを北海道で聴くの回）のですが、もう一人大事な人を忘れていました。
安全地帯のボーカル、玉置浩二です。
日本で一番歌のうまい人と、多くミュージシャンの方が認める、偉大なるボーカリストです。
先日Billboard Live TOKYOにSalyuを聴きに行った際、開演前に来年の”玉置浩二 PREMIUM SYMPHONIC CONCERT 2021″の告知がスクリーンで流されていました。
最初は、メルマガでの情報で知ったのですが。
その情報に触れた時、「なんで北海道で玉置浩二を聴かなかったんだ！」と猛烈に後悔しました。
北海道の綺麗な雪景色の中で「あの頃へ」なんぞ聴いたら、最高だったのに・・。
（今、遅ればせながらYouTubeでこの曲を聴きながら書いています）
玉置浩二はだいぶ前（あいまいなのですが、多分10年以上前）、東京国際フォーラム ホールＡでバンド形式のソロライブを聴きに行ったことがあります。その時は妻も一緒。妻もVOICEがいいと気に入っていました。
来年のライブは、オーケストラをバックに歌うbillboard classicsシリーズです。事前先行予約に申し込んだ２月11日の公演は【管弦楽】バルカン室内管弦楽団・ビルボードクラシックスオーケストラとの共演とのこと。
ちょっと、コロナ禍でバルカン室内管弦楽団が来日出来るか微妙ですが、来日不可となってもビルボードクラシックスオーケストラのみで実施予定の様です。
実は3年ほど前に、やはりbillboard classicsで渋谷のオーチャードホールでのSalyuの公演にも行きました。
その時は、最前列正面の席が当選。オーケストラの音圧をステージ前で、ものすごく感じたものです。
今回も抽選なので、何とかどの席でもよいから当選することを祈っています。
たまたま昨夜聴いたJ-WAVEに、森山直太朗が出演していて、ティーンエイジャーの頃、玉置浩二が毎日のように森山家のお風呂に入りに来ていたエピソードを語っていました。
実生活では、ちょっと変わった人という感じですものね。
